STAAR Snack Help Needed!

We have 3 more STAAR testing days coming up, and we’d love your help keeping our teachers fueled and feeling appreciated by stocking the lounge!

If you’re able to donate, we’re putting together a Trail Mix Bar (plus a few extra goodies!).

Trail Mix Bar Ideas:
    •    Popcorn
    •    M&M’s
    •    Pretzels
    •    Chex cereal (any variety)
    •    Goldfish
    •    Mini marshmallows
    •    Chocolate chips
    •    Yogurt-covered raisins
    •    Dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, bananas)
    •    Nuts (peanuts, almonds, cashews)
    •    Granola clusters
    •    Coconut flakes

Bonus Snack Ideas:
    •    Individually wrapped cookies
    •    Chips or snack-size bags
    •    Protein/granola bars
    •    Crackers (Ritz, Wheat Thins)
    •    String cheese or packaged cheese snacks

Our Spring Book Fair is almost here! Join us for a week dedicated to the love of reading. Whether you’re looking for the newest graphic novel, a thrilling mystery, or a gift for a friend, we’ve got you covered.

Where: Boggess Elementary (2nd grade hall: E107)

Important Note for Families: Because our students will be working hard on their STAAR Test, the campus will be closed to all visitors on Tuesday, April 14th. We’d love to see you any other day of the week!

Proposed Bylaws & Standing Rules Updates

Here are the Bylaw Review Committee’s proposed updates for the Bylaws & Standing Rules for the Boggess PTA. You can see the changes highlighted in yellow. These updates are to make the rules more inline with current practices and looking toward the future. PTA members will have a vote to approve these updates at the May 8th Membership meeting.
