Step 1:  Get Approved to Volunteer!

Complete your annual PISD background check

Plano ISD requires all volunteers to complete a new background check each school year.

Start by creating or logging into your VOLY account to complete the required orientation and background check.

COMPLETE YOUR VOLY APPLICATION

Small highlighted note:
Please allow 2 days to 2 weeks for your clearance status to appear. Once you are cleared through PISD, you will be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities.

Step 2: Choose the days and times that work for you

Once your PISD background check has been approved:

1. Log into VOLY.
2. Select Current Volunteer Opportunities.
3. Choose I Want To Help!
4. Select the date and shift that works for your schedule.
5. On your volunteer day, check in at the Boggess front office and receive your volunteer badge.
