Volunteers/Visitors and Non-Student Siblings
Because there have been questions recently about the PTA and PISD/Boggess rules regarding campus Volunteers/Visitors bringing siblings to events at the school (specifically Field Day) we have worked with the administration at Boggess to clarify:

Regular School Day
Volunteers - If you check in as a Volunteer and are scheduled to work with students, you may not have a non-student sibling in attendance.
Visitors - If you check in as a Visitor, you may have a non-student sibling in attendance, but you may not interact with students other than your children.

Special Events (i.e Field Day, Field Trips; non-campus locations are involved):
Non student siblings are not allowed to attend or participate.

These rules are in place for the safety and security of the students of Boggess Elementary.
As parents, we're all familiar with the desire to include non-elementary age siblings, the anxiety of wanting to help with our Elementary students; as well as the occasional difficulty of arranging for child care.
However, we do ask that all of our parents follow these rules and respect the responsibility we place in the hands of the staff of Boggess to keep our children safe.

If you have any questions, please contact Ross Cornell, Boggess PTA President:
